Town & Country Salon was established in 1971. It started out in Possum Park Shopping
center, grew too large for that location, so we moved down the highway to 1923 where we are today.
Our stylists are a big part of our success; many have been at our salon for a long time. We currently have several stylists who have been with us for more than 20 years! Dawn, Kathy, Irena, Joy, & Camille. We also have several stylists that have been here more than 10 years! Maryann, Maria, Rita, Colleen, Michele, Chrissy, Cyndi, Heather, Dana, Andrea, Renee, & Jamie. Town and Country Salon appreciates their dedication and loyalty!

Our specialty here at our salon is hair color! We currently have 9 stylists that are REDKEN Certified haircolorists!! Our stylists frequently attend hair cutting and coloring classes at the REDKEN exchange in New York City. We pride ourselves on staying current with the latest trends and styles.
We have two stylists that are Redken Artists! REDKEN Artists travel the area to educate other stylists on the latest color and haircutting trends. Amanda and Jamie are the only two Redken artists in the state of Delaware! They have worked very hard to achieve this goal. Congratulations!
We currently have 5 levels of stylists! The different levels seperate the stylists who have gone above and beyond their goals we set for them. The higher the level the more they have achieved. Our level one stylists are our "new talent". They have been trained by our best stylists on coloring, cutting and styling, before they get behind the chair on their own, so they start out as excellent stylists, but have more to learn. Our level 4A stylists-we have 2- Maryann and Peggy are at the highest level in our salon. They are educators in our salon, who work with associates, training them to be stylists. They both are Redken Certified haircolorists, and have been to educational events in LasVegas, Florida, New York City, Philadelphia, and Washington DC. Classes ranging from cutting & highlighting to customer service and product knowledge. They both are also Certified Pureologists!
